Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is converted to images in your browser; nothing goes to a server. Close the tab and it's all gone.
JPG or PNG, which should I pick?
JPG gives smaller files and is fine for scans and photos. PNG is sharper for text and lines and supports transparency, but is larger. For most documents JPG is enough.
How sharp are the images?
At 'Standard' an A4 is about 1190 x 1684 pixels (~144 dpi), good for screen use. Pick 'High' for sharper images, for printing for example.
Can I download all pages at once?
Yes. 'Download all' gives you every page as a separate image in one ZIP file. Or download single pages with the button under each page.
Does it work with a protected PDF?
A password-protected PDF needs to be unlocked first. After that you can convert it here.
