Frequently asked questions

Are my URLs stored or sent anywhere?

No. Everything is processed locally in your browser. No network calls, no logs, no analytics. Close the tab and it's all gone.

Which parameters are recognized exactly?

UTM parameters (utm_*), click IDs from Google/Facebook/Microsoft and other ad platforms, email tracking (Mailchimp, HubSpot, ConvertKit, etc.) and social share IDs (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). The full list is under 'Which parameters are removed?' in the tool itself.

What if a tracker parameter is actually functional for the site?

Some sites use parameters like `si=` or `ref=` as part of their routing. The tool only recognizes known tracker parameters; query parameters not on the list stay intact. Check the URL before sharing if in doubt.

Can I clean multiple URLs at once?

Yes. Paste a list of URLs, one per line, in the input. The tool processes them all and you can copy the cleaned version in one go.
