Bank statement to MT940 / CAMT.053

Convert a CSV export from your bank or from PayPal, Revolut and Wise into MT940 or CAMT.053 for your accounting, entirely in your browser.

runs entirely in your browser

Convert a CSV bank statement into MT940 or CAMT.053, the formats that Moneybird, Jortt, e-Boekhouden and most accounting packages import.

Drop your CSV in or paste it. The tool guesses which column plays which role, you check it, and you download an MT940 or CAMT.053 file.

Your statement is processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded. No account needed.

Frequently asked questions

Which format does my accounting package need, MT940 or CAMT.053?

It depends on the package. Moneybird, e-Boekhouden and many others accept CAMT.053; MT940 is accepted almost everywhere and is a safe first choice. If you are not sure, try MT940, and otherwise CAMT.053. You can download both here.

Does this work with Revolut, Wise, bunq or PayPal?

Yes, as long as you can export a CSV. Every bank and fintech uses its own column names, so you map the columns yourself, or let the auto-detection do it. That way even an export your package normally rejects will work.

Do my bank transactions go to a server?

No. The entire conversion happens in your browser. Your CSV, your IBAN and your transactions are never uploaded or stored. Compare that with paid converters that do send your file to their servers.

Why do I have to enter my own IBAN?

MT940 and CAMT.053 put the account number at the top of the statement; your accounting package matches the import to it. If your IBAN is already in the CSV we prefill it, otherwise you enter it once.
